Goodland Montessori School is a bit of a time capsule, having not experienced a significant renovation since the 55,140 square foot school was originally constructed in 1963. The scope of our current project includes a 13,600-square-foot middle school gymnasium addition with pull-out bleachers having a 200-seat capacity and a new 900 square foot receiving area. The project comprises more than 45,000 square feet of interior alterations including the replacement of the flooring, painting, new acoustical ceilings and lighting upgrades.
The project scope includes remodeling the main entrance and secure vestibule, renovation of the main office, developing a new STEM classroom, toilet room renovations for ADA accessibility, upgrading the kitchen and renovation of the cafeteria. The project has a projected enrollment at completion of 448 students with a total future capacity of 570.
