Community Service

I recently volunteered with a faith-based community in distributing donations to recent migrants who are establishing themselves in the Chicagoland area. Over the years, I have had opportunities to serve in various environments with diverse populations. I have tutored adolescents, formerly incarcerated adults earning their GED, English Language Learners, choreographed and taught dance to Latino youth, hauled cement with Habitat for Humanity, and assisted Physical Therapists in their rehabilitation work with spinal cord injury patients.

Personal Statement

I enjoy learning from others, whether in a classroom, on the job, or out in the community. My current goal is to learn more about design and I am excited to be a part of the Partners in Design Architects team. It is exciting to join a versatile firm that values sustainability.
