It is certainly not every day that an opportunity to redevelop a high profile 230 acre property in a major metropolitan area along a major highway within a dozen miles of a major international airport comes along. The Logistics Campus in Glenview, Illinois is all that and more. The abandoned former Allstate office campus is being redeveloped into a Class A logistics campus, consisting of 3.2 million square feet in 10 buildings and anticipated to bring 1,900 jobs to the area. The site is being designed around many of the property’s existing landscape and water features, and further enhanced with robust new landscaping in concert with the relocation of hundreds of mature trees in an effort to maintain the park-like setting. All buildings are being designed with sustainable features and will be LEED certified.
